I innovatively crafted custom themes to elevate the user experience of the MVSX Home Arcade, effectively replacing the default UI with visually immersive designs. Leveraging the Hylo soft mod platform, I meticulously curated custom backgrounds, cover art, icons, splash screens, sounds, and animated hover states for each distinct theme. Each theme was thoughtfully tailored to encapsulate the essence of a particular retro video game genre or brand, including Neo Geo, Capcom Play System, Shoot 'Em Ups, and Brawlers. Furthermore, I orchestrated the creation of a promotional video, serving as a dynamic showcase to highlight the unique features and aesthetics of these meticulously crafted themes. Through this endeavor, I contributed to enhancing the overall appeal and nostalgia-infused charm of the MVSX Home Arcade, offering users an immersive journey into the golden age of gaming.
